be spared to accompany Owen in this rôle. It would be

valuable experience for a young engineer, and if as a result

of the report there was work for the Consulting Engineers,

it would be useful for you, I expect, to have in your

Office an engineer who was personally au fait with the

subject and the local circumstances.
